College of Agricultural Sciences students and post-doc named Sustainability Leadership Fellows

Three graduate students and one post-doctoral fellow from the College of Agricultural Sciences have been selected as Sustainability Leadership Fellows by CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability.

Over the course of the coming year, the fellows will receive training in science communication, effective team building, policymaker engagement and other professional development skills to incorporate meaningful strategies into their careers to positively impact the social-environmental-economic challenges the world faces.

The 2022-2023 cohort includes 20 early career scientists and represents 15 departments and units and six colleges at CSU. Representing the College of Agricultural Sciences are the following:

Jackie Billotte – Ph.D. Student, Department of Agricultural Biology and Graduate Degree Program in Ecology

Eliza Clark – Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Agricultural Biology and Graduate Degree Program in Ecology

Valerie Seitz – Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture

Sahar Toulabi – Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture and Cell and Molecular Biology
