Colorado Gov. Jared Polis toured Colorado State University’s new Nutrien Agricultural Sciences Building on May 4, a day after the facility’s grand opening.

He met with students, researchers, Nutrien representatives and administrators. Polis chatted with students Vanessa Alvarado, Jonathan Cable, Emily Wilson and Treasure Morgan as he walked the halls of the new facility. In the Bernard Rollin Knowledge Well, a 360-degree classroom that is one of the hallmarks of the building, he heard research presentations from Megan Machmuller, Jan Leach and Becca Jablonski.

Nutrien leaders David Elser, Paul Poister and Sarah Fox greeted the governor, as did CSU President Joyce McConnell, College of Agricultural Sciences Dean James Pritchett, Vice President for Strategy Jenelle Beavers, CSU Chief Financial Officer Henry Sobanet and Paula Mills, the college’s chief of staff and operations.
