Colorado State University President Joyce McConnell announced that, with the approval of the university’s budget for next year, students will pay the same tuition as last year, and CSU will avoid deep reductions, pay cuts, and job losses.
When we say CSU is a place where all are welcomed, valued, and affirmed, that comes with a responsibility to not ignore the painful parts of our reality.
Fall 2020 semester will begin as already scheduled on Aug. 24, but the university will shift to remote, online classes following Fall Break. The last two weeks of classes and finals will be delivered virtually.

This isn’t the first time Colorado State University has been faced with overcoming significant adversity linked to events on a global scale in its 150 years.
The university will be open – virtually. We will do our work by phone, email, Microsoft Teams or other online platforms unless the work must be performed in person.
We are also advising the suspension or online delivery of off-campus educational programming and events for the remainder of the semester.
